Job Summary 

We are looking for a full-time Field Support Engineer (Entry-Level) to work at military bases within the United States to maintain hardware and software infrastructure and serve as the Liaison Officer (LNO) to regularly interface with user communities and provide local technical operations management and support. ALL Field Support Engineers must be FULLY VACCINATED prior to starting the position. 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Installing and configuring computing and networking hardware and software 
  • Assessing and reporting computing and networking risks 
  • Installing Ethernet or Fiber Optic cabling
  • Inventorying hardware and software components 
  • Monitor technical health of the core infrastructure components and meet uptime goals 
  • Reviewing and testing software systems 
  • Performing software updates 
  • Starting and shutting down systems
  • Provide professional onsite technical support to users
  • Submitting monthly reports

Job Summary
We are looking for a part-time Field Installation Technician willing to travel to military bases within the United States to perform the installation of computer classrooms and cables. You will be a part of a three-person team. You will be required to assemble instructor and student desks. You will also be required to run network cable. The work schedule is dependent upon our Customer’s readiness. Currently, there is typically 1 to 2, or maximum of 3 installations per month. U.S. Military veterans a plus. Must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

  • Reimbursement for food while traveling

Work Schedule
The typical work schedule during an install is as follows.

  • Fly out Sunday
  • Work Monday – Friday (8-hour days)
  • Fly home Friday evening or Saturday
  • A four-day work week (10-hour days) is possible if field production dictates
  • Typically, once or twice a month

Primary Responsibilities

  • May need to lift heavy boxes or equipment
